English Created by DJ Jack in 2002, the objective of the Energy BR movement was always to bring true trance and its variations back to the Brazilian music world. In a short time, the nucleus began to expand and spread another style little known in the country – Progressive. Together, each style became what Energy BR is recognized for. To accomplish this, http://www.energybr.net was created, which provides dates of events and other informations on the DJs, parties, record releases, interviews, and everything there is to know about trance in Brazil and the world. Besides the website, Energy BR also organizes events and promotes the production of music nationally. Over 8 years, Energy BR has become the largest trance and progressive nucleus in Latin America, and has in its lineup the greatest names on the national scene. This network reaches north to south, from Belém in Pará to Porto Alegre in Rio Grande so Sul, and has gained extensive coverage in trade media. And now, after years on the road mainly as a music nucleus and event organizer, Energy BR is taking another step forward and has just launched its own record label. Due to their fine artistic and conceptual reputation and all the knowledge of Brazil itself and Brazilian culture, the label will focus on trance (tech/uplifting) and progressive. The aim is to expose new national talent as well as promote established artists, and in the near future, to sign international names which fit into the musical stylings of the nucleus. Energy BR Records is comprised of the main DJs and producers of trance and progressive in Brazil, many of them with world recognition on their resumes. Most have their own productions on influential labels and have earned the support of famous DJs across the globe like DJ Jack, Danilo Ercole, Fabio Stein, Danny Loko, Geezk, Georg aka GRG, vanTronik, Flávio Grifo, Foxxy, Everson K and Luiz Toniolo. Remix Contest And to celebrate the newborn label, Energy BR Records launches its first remix contest, whose winner will have his remix released on all the best digital portals worldwide!
